Yoga Teachers
We have a whole team of lovely teachers at Yoga Bromley that have all taken the Yoga Bromley teachers training course. We all teach the same method but each teacher brings their own energy and flair to the class

I discovered yoga over six years ago as a way to support my mental wellbeing and bring greater balance into my life. What began as a personal journey has grown into a passion for sharing yoga with others and helping them experience its physical, mental and emotional benefits. My teaching is welcoming, inclusive and accessible to all abilities, with a particular interest and specialism in Menopause Yoga, Yin Yoga and Sivananda Yoga. My classes encourage you to move, breathe, slow down and reconnect with yourself, creating a supportive space to nurture both body

I’m Annie (Shivani). I qualified with Emma in 2021 and very much enjoy teaching Sivanada classes at Ripley Arts Centre, especially for beginners. I really love to see people progressing and getting more deeply into their practice. I have been practicing different forms of hatha yoga, including Sivananda, for around 25 years now – my body always feels more open and my mind more peaceful after practicing, which I’m grateful for, especially given the world we live in these days. I look forward to seeing you on the mat 🙏

Carla has explored and practised different forms of yoga for over 15 years, with her practice naturally evolving as she has moved through different phases of life. Completing her Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training in 2023 marked a natural next step, with the help of Emma’s teaching and guidance, she began broadening her understanding of yoga beyond the physical practice to include its spiritual teachings and philosophy. Since qualifying, she has taught traditional Sivananda yoga at Yoga Studio Bromley, alongside Hatha classes at studios across London and Kent. Whatever form her practice has taken, yoga has remained a steady presence in Carla’s life, helping her slow down, reconnect with herself and meet the busyness and challenges of everyday life with greater patience, strength and self-awareness.

I have been practicing yoga since 2015 when I needed more peace and calm in my life.
I met Emma at Yoga Bromley in 2018, when she introduced me to the more spiritual side of yoga at a meditation course that she ran. I fell further in love with the practice and subsequently joined the teachers training programme in 2022 that Emma ran, qualifying in 2023, and have been teaching weekly since January 2024. Yoga has benefited my mind, body and soul bringing more inner peace and happiness and a deeper love of Sivananda Yoga.
I have been practising yoga for around 15 years, and it has helped me become calmer, stronger and more flexible, as well as better able to manage stress. Yoga has also led me onto a continuing path of self-inquiry and personal discovery. I completed my yoga teacher training with the lovely Emma in November 2021 and now teach in the Sivananda tradition. I enjoy making my classes welcoming and accessible, offering variations to suit different abilities.
